Unfulfilled Love Promises (Part 1)

Unfulfilled Love Promises (Part 1)

Just 4 days ago, we had our wedding anniversary, never knew he has been stabbing me in the back.
My name is Janet, I have been married for two years and I am with no child yet, but the Man of my dreams as always stood by me. There have always been pressures from his families, but he defends me at all times, so many times he quarrels with his mum over her complain about me not having a child yet. Any time I feel down with the thoughts of not having a child already, he speaks the sweetest words any woman wants to hear to my ears, he grabs those sleeping pills away from my hand, take care my bleeding heart and hug me tight, he whispers into my ears, everything is fine. He even went as far as saying, even for the fact that medical test shows no fertility problems and complications, and we still don’t have a child for a very long time, he’ll go for adoption. He’s just the perfect the guy every woman would crave for.
Marcus and I got married two years ago, and our marriage has been wonderful, no man would have ever loved me more than the way he does, our marriage was full of love and romance, he was just the perfect boyfriend that I got married to. The 23rd day of the 3rd month of the year is our wedding anniversary that was one of my happiest days in our marriage. His love prophecies for me in that dark room with few candle lights, has never left my head, he reminded me of how he saw me in his dream before we met, really took me down the memory lane, he said “Everyday he wakes up to remember only one important thing” I asked him what it is, and he said, God is really on his side because he gave him the most amazing and wonderful human being ever, and he’s anticipating all the future wonderful moments together with me.  That night, the atmosphere in the room was so calm, filled with so much emotions that I was lost, as I was staring at him, he stood up from his chair, clasped his hands with mine, kissed me on my neck, I felt tickled, and quietly, he told me he loves me so much, all of his word made me aroused and romantically, he took me to Cloud 9. The sex that night was the best ever.
Three days after our wedding anniversary, Marcus told me, he’ll be having an appointment over the weekend and he’ll be leaving very early on Friday morning, I didn’t suspect anything fishy, because that wasn’t something new.  Marcus left as scheduled. On Saturday morning around 8:00am that I now call a cursed day, I heard a knock on my door, it was Sharon with a friend, looking extravagantly gorgeous, all set for a party, she said she is on her way to the party she invited me to, and she only dropped by to check on me, before going. Sharon asked after Marcus, and I told her he went on a business trip. She introduced me to her friend Catherine, and we exchanged pleasantries. Sharon insisted I get dressed for the party, I felt reluctant because I didn’t inform Marcus before he left, but Sharon and Catherine remained adamant, so I decided to go with them. I tried to call Marcus to let him know I’ll be going for the party, but his numbers were not reachable. I went to the bedroom to get dressed while Sharon and Catherine waited for me in the living room. So we headed for the party.
On getting to the party, we didn’t meet up with the church programme, because we got there a bit late, on getting to the reception, we were ushered in, as we were going in, what captured my attention were the colorful decorations, beautifully touched, even more beautiful than the ones I used on my wedding day. It seemed very interesting in the beginning. Everywhere was rowdy, though well organized. When the reception proper began, the Master of ceremony called for the couple to dance into the occasion. I didn’t look up at first, Sharon tapped me, I looked at her and saw the look on her face, saw she was looking at the couple in dismay, I looked at the same direction she was looking at, and when I did, it was not what any woman would pray to see........

Stay tuned for the next episode!
